Runway Rocked at SoLita Italian on Las Olas!
SoLita Italian restaurant hosted ‘Rock the Catwalk’, a rock-inspired runway fashion show held on the hottest strip on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. As I entered, the dark purple walls were reminiscent of being in an authentic European setting- upscale, elite, chic parlor lounge, and beautiful! The atmosphere was robust with laughter filled with gorgeous people. I opted for the “Eggplant Stack” and a Sauvignon Blanc as I mingled with another Fashion enthusiast/Blogger, Bianca Sanchez and Public Relations Guru, Aimee Adler. A sultry model approached our area and of course, I was ready to interview! The model turned out to be the party coordinator and Zamora Swimwear Designer, Linda Zamora whom surprised us with an exquisite Perrier-Jouet bottle! After clinking our glasses, it was show time!
SoLita’s back patio featured a runway and I sat front row center- blogger style. The talented Ariel Bartolo graced the stage with her iridescent voice and the house was packed! Eight fierce models strutted the runway dazzled in spring and summer fashions from Elektrik Boutique, Mimosa Boutique, Chic Devotion, Zamora Swimwear and Cerca Trova. Robust colors filled the star-studded atmosphere with corals, creams, magentas, and reds. Every single piece that entered and exited Elektrik Boutique called for a standing ovation because it was just that- Grande!
To top off the evening, I walked away with a hot purple mini tote filled with goodies courtesy of all boutiques and salons involved. Las Olas should be on every fashion enthusiast place to shop and when in the area, it’s a must to stop by all the designer’s boutique! Oh…and you’ve got to try the “Eggplant Stack”.
